Has anyone recently had any problems with contactstore. My son updated java since then contactstore keeps trying to download and install verient player. I have ran a windows restore point, but made no difference. Anyone any ideas. by the way contactstore ok on other machines fine on the same network.

What browser? Tried another one to get the playback working? Tried installing Verint Player as Administrator?

Only works with IE, as its an ActiveX applet.

try re-installing CS as well.

Hi thanks for the replies, I'm using IE10 tried installing using admin no joy.

I'm pretty sure it is an IE issue, if I look at the manage plugin and select the verient addon the block count adds up every time I try and run the contactstore.

Reinstalling the cs on the server I don't think will do anything, as all pcs throughout the office work fine, so its looking like a format and reinstall of the laptop.

Add the CS server as a trusted site in IE security settings and run with compatibility option

Thanks hairlessupportmonkey, screen displayed the install verient at the top this time, but still will not load player.

Run an earlier version of IE. Check the CS manual for supported versions for your release.

Like HSM mentioned, add it to the trusted. It even runs on my IE11 Win8.1

PS. CS must run on a server 2k3 or 2k8 and not XP or other desktop version.
