How can I get the Contacts from a users Exchange mailbox to appear in the Select Names list when addressing an email?

On an Outlook 2000 Client - the user wants to address an email by clicking the "TO" box and then selecting a recipient. Problem - the users Contacts (from his Exchange Mailbox)do not show up in the list. Only the Global Address list is available. Under Personal Folders the Contacts do not appear.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Great Forum!

Right click on the contacts folder, goto the "Outlook Address book" tab and tick "Show this folder as an email address book"

Thanks Zebs but that box is unchecked and greyed out!
Can't tick it.

Any other ideas?

Check that something like Microsoft Outlook Address book is listed in the services (I can't check it exactly as I'm not at work :) )

Also, if its a public folder then you need to add it to the favourites first.

I do have a .pab file and Outlook Address book is listed in services.
It's not a public folder. I'm trying to use the Contacts folder in the user's mailbox.

Thanks for anyone's help.

ISSUE RESOLVED!

The client had a "Phantom" Outlook Address Book in his configuration. One I deleted and reinstalled it the Mailbox Contacts popped up underneath it!
