Contacts and Address Book Entries Ordered Differently

I have both the "Full Name" and the "File As" order on my Contacts set to "Last Name, First Name". My contacts display fine. The problem that my address book (which I have set to pull from my Contacts) displays all of the names in "First name, Last Name" order and I can't figure out a way to change it. Does anyone know how to change the order on the Address Book (which is pulling from Contacts)

You can't. Stupid I know but microsoft made Outlook contacts work that way.

Actually yes you can do this. First I want to be sure that you have installed the Outlook Address Book as opposed to the Personal Address Book.

If this is installed then go to TOOLS - SERVICES select the Outlook Address Book and select PROPERTIES. Select the option to show names by the SAVE AS option. Once you set the option close the window and then in Outlook click on FILE - EXIT AND LOGOFF (the setting won't take effect until you do this).

Log back in to Outlook and open your address book. It should display your contacts in the order you want. joegz
