We have an AVAYA G700 & S8300 CM4 solution running AES and CSCM version 7.7.1

We have a requirement to record a Radio Channel used to communicate to drivers in the field. This radio channel does not currently go through the AVAYA system. Does any one know of any ideas on how we could get this recorded via our CSCM product.

One idea was to connect to to an analog port on the AVAYA but this would potentially not provide us with start and stop events so we could have one continuous recording which is not what we need.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

if your contact store has analogue channels you could connect it to this and set it to vox/energy detection.

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months

Unfortunately this is only an IP recorder so no analog channels but has the ability to service observe other types of stations such as Digital or Analog.

service observe needs cti to initiate the softphone. You would need an analogue card in the recorder.
