We are have a rough time getting Contact Recorder to work on Server Edition. 9.1.10
This is a single server installation with VM and Contact Recorder on the same Virtual Server.
Within the recorder web interface I have the Handover Folder set to /opt/vmpro/VRL this is set in VM Pro as well and tests good.
The Call storage path is set to /additional-hdd/media/Recording this is set to the same in the Web Manager interface Platform - System Additional HD Settings.
I think this the root of the problem as i have tried many iterations of this path and it still does not work
The customer added an addition drive the the Virtual machine and set me a print screen. That shows a drive that has been mounted names /dev/sdb1
500Gig
Mount point /media/Recording
to test i will stop and start the recording service then make a test call using Communicator and leave a message, i have the calling extension to record incoming and outgoing.
Then check the call recording web interface. and nothing.
Still have the 90 warning message on the screen

don't think leaving a message will record the call, as it sees it going to voicemail and recording there.

what are your warning messages?

a lot of problems occur with security and the folders being accessible by that computers user name.

I think I misspoke.. when testing I use Communicator to call my deskphone and stay of the call for 30 seconds stating test. and I wish this would work.
I have no alarms of any regard within Contact recorded.
the only message I see is.

ContactStore will run for 90 days from the date you make your first recording. Thereafter you will have to acquire and install a license on your IP Office system. Until you do so, you will be able to review recordings already made but any new recordings made will be deleted rather than processed.

Go into the Platform View settings. Under Settings | System look at Mount Path Name. The Call Storage Path will be Mount Path Name plus /partition1, eg. from what you said /media/Recording/partition1.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Here is the full path in the System platform you mentioned sizbut
/additional-hdd/media/Recording/partition1/
Stop and restarted CS service. I have an error in the contact recorder Alarms tab
The Voice Recording Library path '/additional-hdd#1/partition1/media/Recording' is invalid or unreachable.
I still can't get the paths to jibe, but i think i'm getting closer.

You've just said it was /additional-hdd/... and yet clearly you have /additional-hdd#1/... set somewhere. You also set the partition1 in a totally different place within the paths and have an extra / at the end of one path.

A. What is the Mount Path Name set in Platform View?

B. What is the Call Storage Path set in Contact Recorder?

As said already, B = A + /partition1

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Mount path name from System Platform A= /additional-hdd/media/Recording/partition1
Contact Recorder call storage path B= /additional-hdd/media/Recording

Stopped and started service..test. not working.
No alarms in Recorder.
Do i need to include the -hdd#1
The knowledge base is just adds to my confusion on the syntax of these paths.

Really! you've just done A = B + /partition1. Either post scrrenshots, because frankly I don't trust anything you type to be accurate, or hand the job to a competent system maintainer.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

For the benfit of readers in the future:
From 10.1 onward Media Manager will be used in place of Contact Recorder.
The recording library path will be opt/vmpro/MM/VRL

Gunpoint 132 and Bush.Cover's code three
