Hi,

I'm searching for the right way to migrate recording file from Contact Recorder in .Wav format to Media Manager in .Opus format. The migration procedure of the database is clear and work fine, but I cannot find any document about how to move the recording files properly.

Thanks

There isn't one. As you've found the official migration is just the database, leaving the original recordings where they are.

Why do you want to convert them? Media Manager does an on-the-fly conversion for playback so having them as wavs is not stopping any browser usage. And it still creates new recording in WAV format if they are VRLA files.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

@Sizbut, so you say that in a migration process from 10.1 to 11, all recording from the Contact Recorder should'nt be moved, they must stay on the additionnal HDD in the original .Wav format. Thanks for this clarification.

I think that I understand my issue now, Contact Recorder files are in the CSIPORec directory, I had to create a new partition on the server for the Media Manager. But now Media Manager can see the Metadata of the CR recording but it cannot find the recording, I can search a recording but I cannot replay or download, I get "file is not present" error message.
