Already asked in symposium forum but no one has known...does someone have ie 8 running on CC. we have Contact center 6.0 and internet explorer 6.0..
i.t. wants to put ie8 on clients...will it work ?will ie8 go on cc6 server in addition ?Confused

We are still having problems running CC6 with IE7 and to top it off we put SU6 on one of our CC's and have been working for 2 days with the vendor and Nortel to try to get things back to normal. If you do go to IE 8, I would not put it on the CCS's and make sure that you keep at least one client machine with IE6.

I had that feeling...maybe CC7.0 will be compatible

I would suggest you telling your IT department to back off the IE8 stuff. Assure them that adding any software not approved by Nortel will subject the server to possible issues, and an escape clause for all said issues, by Nortel.

Repeat this to the IT people:

NO SOFTWARE CHANGES: NO MICROSOFT HOTFIXES, NO MICROSOFT UPDATES, NOTTA-ZIP-ZILCH... UNLESS IT HAS BEEN APPROVED BY NORTEL OR WE RISK VOIDING ANY WARRANTIES!!

I'm running windows 7 RC with IE8 and I'm able to get into my CC6 manager and administer what I need to with no problems.
