Constant DTMF Tone

Hi,

This is a really silly "problem" that does not really cause too much hassle, but you know what these things are like, people start moaning when it is a new system.

IPO 500 V4.1(10, all 5410 handsets that connect to a DS30.

People start to dial handsfree, and when they press the first button, the DTMF tone sticks and emits a constant DTMF tone.

Any one know what is causing this?

I will ask the question everyone asks with this type of problem, did you upgrade the DS30 module through the 3.2.999 loader? If not do it!!

I have seen this many times over the years. I have related this issue to the following:

1. Occurs when merging or retreiving a configuration from the IPO when someone is dialing.
2. When the system is experiencing heavy call volume.


I noticed this occured mostly on 3.1 and 3.2 with digital sets. I have seen this maybe once recently on 4.0.
