Constant Beeping

Hello all! I have a remote site which has one station with a problem. If line 1 is selected, there is a constant beeping tone, but only on the station side (the remote end can't hear the tone). We've tried swapping ports, swapping phone sets, disconnecting the melco, and reading poetry to it. The beeping tone is still there. There is less than a second between each tone, and it never lets up. Can someone please help?

Okay, just the facts. What Partner and release are we talking about, what modules are there and in what order (from left to right). Most importantly what do you mean by remote site? How is this set up and wired?

what if you plug the staion directly into the port on the system ?

Try a different phone you know works at the station port directly. swap trunks 1 and 2 to see if it moves to line 2, if so, check for an alarm or other device wired in ahead of the partner system.
