consolidation of reports

I am new to Business Objects.Can someone tell me whether
we can consolidate similarly formatted reports with same fields of different companies(or group companies) and how?

hi, instead of keeping the reports separately, you have a single report which consists of all the reports. That is to say you insert a report in a report and then insert table and use the universes of your choice and have the report. Finally, when you want to consolidate, you again insert a report, then insert a table, select using the existing data choice, and select the data which you require. But see to it that the reports are in a way linked by a common column, otherwise you cannot get, because logically it is not possible
