i did that in an 11 years back, rls 18 or 16.. can't remember the work around but let me look at my att data tomorrow and see if i can recall the prompt
In LD 15, set AQTT to 24 or 30. This is the number of seconds the calls will queue at the console. I used a 6 second ring cycle, times the number of rings to get those numbers.
Then, set AODN to the DN you created for your backup phone.
The only caveat here is that you need to program an OVB key on the backup phone. This does two things:
1) It allows calls to remain at the console in the event the overflow/back-up set is not covered; with the OVB key active.
2) It allows for the console to go into the standard NITE mode correctly. If you place the console in NITE while the overflow set is active (i.e. the OVB key is NOT active), calls will be diverted directly to the Overflow DN. You will need to have the Overflow DN activate the OVB key on the set prior to placing the console in NITE mode.
I have this in place in several of my locations and it works great.
