Console instructions HELP!!!

Hi everyone in microsoft visual studio 2003 ; when i create a console application console functions like clrscr(),textbackground() doesnt works... please help me...

Those aren't standard C++ functions. They are specific functions that Borland added to their compiler.

i dont say that those are c++ functions and i know theese are work in borlnd but my problem is why not in microsoft havent appropriate library???

lso if there are someone wondering we can use dos instructions with 'system' instead of this

for example system("cls") for clrscr();

If you have ansi.sys loaded the sequence is \033[2J to clear the screen.
