We are experiencing a number of lock-outs on the operator consoles on the Sx2OOO Lite. The symptons are

Console freezes
Card on which console resides also stops working as does the digital telephones.

the only way out to to have the card reset and start again.

ALL THE PARTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED AND THE SOFTWARE UPGRADED TO THE LATEST VERSION.

ANY ONE HAVE SIMILAR?

found the socket options finally but is there a certain port number i have to use or it can be anything? and i type it in the ext field i guess

your guess is as good as mine I am reading the book just like you as I said befor i don't have the luxury of
telnet or ip printers on the stuff I have out there
like I said I work on mitel 10/20/50/100/200 200 light digital, ML, EL not the 3300 or 200 icp

ok i used port 2001 and it says

thats crazy nobody is going to make a secure telnet call accouting program. doesn't anyone know how to turn this off or and i just doing it the wrong way.

Hey matt were is you vendor does he not have any answers for
your questions also real silly question why can you not use the comm port on your mx?

my vendor is retarded. i have done every single system change myself. including reprogramming the whole entire system after upgrading from the sx200icp because he didn't know you could back it all up, then i upgraded the software from v1.1 to 2.2 and he charged me for a 256 flash card because he thought that i needed one for my internal drive even though it already had one! he didn't know how to use the freakin ftp server to back it up so i spend a day trying to figure that out. then i ordered the teleworker solution and guess who had to install that without having any clue what to do... ME! i finally got that working with no help from him! and now the stupid dataset doesnt' work. I figured out why the console circuit wasn't showing up in 12! after i read the edocs it says you can only have a PKM or dataset port working which is dumb. so i deleted all the key line appearences from the pkm and then the circuit showed up in there but i still want to use Telnet for this because i want the PKM there. I call almost every dealer and florida and they didn't know what in the heck i was talking about and mitel is no help at all. It is so frustrating that mitel has all these feature but trying to get them to work i have to like get the fbi involved or go on this forum. If i didn't find this place I would be SOL because I don't have access to tech support and my dealer knows NOTHING. all i use him for is ordering products. then when i call mitel and complain they say sorry youll have to sort things out with your dealer. I talked to like every regional sales and technical and customer service executive at mitel and they are NO help whatsoever. i would never have gotten mitel if i know it was like this. we've spent over $25,000 on this system and i can't get any support. i trained myself for 6 months playing around in the CDE so that i could customize our system how we wanted since he didn't have a clue. I called over 15 different dealers today in florida, south carolina, tennessee, and none of them knew what I was talking about this telnet session so this forums is my only hope to get things accomplished. we are losing lots of revenue because this stupid dataset isn't working and now i can't get the telnet to work. so thats where my dealer is. also the comm port is in another room than the call accounting software so i can't do that.

hey did you check the wiring on the jack like I sugested
on the dataset?

i'dd get you the new edocs if you would get a upload area
set up as I suggested!

hope this helps your port is not 2001

IP Printer Port
Data for the functions listed below can be output through an IP socket in
the controller to a telnet-enabled application for printing.
The default database sends SMDR and CDE Data Print output to IP socket
61328. If you are using a different database, follow the procedure below to
program a printer port.
1. Form 11, Data Descriptor
- Define a circuit descriptor to match the characteristics of the device
type. The default circuit descriptor number 1 works for most
applications.
2. Form 12, Data Assignment
- Program a SOCKET type data device to an available PLID in the
following range:
PLID Port PLID Port
1/13/20 61320 1/13/25 61325
1/13/21 61321 1/13/26 61326
1/13/22 61322 1/13/27 61327
1/13/23 61323 1/13/28 61328
1/13/24 61324
- Assign a Tenant, Extension number, COS, COR, and circuit
descriptor number.
3. Form 34, Directed I/O
- Define the printout type to output.
