me again!

i'm having these messages and wondering what's happening to my system. most of the time, i login to the system remotely and didn't noticed it until today when i'm about to use the main terminal:

open event driver failed
fatal server error: check mouse configuration

unix was initially install on the server without mouse. but thats not a problem...when u see that message press ctrl - alt - F1

thank you but after doing so.. it seems it's affecting my access to X-window. i'm receiving this:

open event driver
fatal server error
check mouse configuration
giving up
xinit : I/O error (errno 5) : unable to connect to X server
