Console Behaving Badly

Hi,

The "RLS scr" on a console is blinking slowly. No one knows why. No one uses it.

It doesn't want to shut off.

We've initialized the console. I've disabled and re-enabled the TNs associated with the console.

It keeps blinking. (There are five other consoles that DON'T have this problem.)

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try plugging another phone in to and see if it goes away. If so replace with new phone.

swap it with another console and see if problem moves with the console or stays with the TNs

I was hoping I overlooked something, but you're probably right. I'll see what happens.

one good test point, if you can't program a 2250 to do that, then it's almost never software.. a reset did not clear it, sounds more like a bad tn then the console.. but the swap hardware would isolate the problem

Follow up:
Disabled console. Unplugged connection from amphenol (TNs). Plugged back in. Re-enabled. Problem went away.

No idea what caused the problem or whether it will return.
