Hi,
I am a kid to teradata, I was working my queries thru Queryman without any problem, but suddenly today morning when I try to connect it gave me this error message

"10061 : WSA E connrefused : The Teradata server is not accepting connections"

"10061: [TCP/IP Venor] [WSocks32 dll]
10061 WSA E Conn Refused"

Brilliant, now if only I knew how to connect.

First time user here and I get this meesage too.

"10061 : WSA E connrefused : The Teradata server is not accepting connections"

"10061: [TCP/IP Venor] [WSocks32 dll]
10061 WSA E Conn Refused"

I am not an idiot and I work with SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix, etc and I cannot figure out how to set up a database with this software let alone connect to it.

Not bitter just disapponted in the software.

Maybe the previous thread "how to start database in teradata" can help you.

What errors are reported in the NT-Eventlog?
