Hi All

I'm doing a program for work where some PC's have the old 3.51 OLEDB drivers. At the moment I have to have 2 exe files one for 4.0 and 1 for 3.51. What is the best way of fixing this so I can have one exe. Not sure how you can check when program loads and find out which drivers are on the PC.

Not the mopst elegant solution but you could place both conection string within your code strating with the newest first cheching for an error if no erro then continu else open up the connection using the older version

It is for fixing broken references. You might use that to determine, wether OLEDB 4.0 or only 3.51 are available.
