connection mdb error

i am getting this error message when tries to connect to the mdb access file

"Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user. "

what is that for? what shoudl i do? i am using coldfuion 6.1

Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.

It looks like the Access database is open, either by you or someone else. It won't let CF connect to it until that connection is closed.

If you use Dreamweaver, make sure to close dreamweaver to test if it's maybe locking the mdb. This can occure some time... Don't ask me why, but I had this issue before and it was due to some issues with dreamweaver....
