connecting XP pro to NT4 SP6

Hello,

Can somebody tell me how to connect an XP PRO box to an NT 4.0 server. I have given the XP box an IP and can ping the server but cannot find anywhere on XP to add this computer to the domain.

Easiest way to tell you.
1) Go into Control Panel
2) Switch to classic view (if it is not already)
3) Click on System icon
4) choose Computer Name control tab
5)select the Change button

When adding a machine to the domain you will be asked for an acount name and password. Some people mistakenly use the users login name they plan on using on that pc. Use the adminstrator account as it requires an account with Domain Admin privileges.
