Someone told me, without specifics, that there was a way to resolve IPs that were not static, when connecting with PCAnywhere.

Usually, we just have our clients connect to us, but if there is another way, I would like to know.

This person tried to have us log into xxx.xxx.xxx.com via PCAnywhere. This then resolved to ###.###.###.###. But, it never worked.

So, does anyone know how to set up PCAnywhere to call into a host that does NOT have a static IP?

Yes, use It automatically updates all our client's IP addresses and my own as well. it is pretty cool. All our corporate information is still on our server and nothing is managed by an outside dns service. see what you think of it.

we use no-ip.com. It is just a few dollars.
