How can I put an IP to my Turbolinux machine..

I want to share the linux to the NT net...

and connect to the internet also, using the proxy
Arlequin
arlequin@montevideo.com.uy
<a href=
To put an IP address to your Turbolinux machine use Turbonetcfg. Open a terminal emulator, su to root, then type at the command line turbonetcfg & . This will open the Network configuration window with the main menu from which you can make your network configuration changes. As for the sharing to NT net... you'll need to configure Samba. Go to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> for details. One way to configure Samba is through SWAT ( Samba Web Administration Tool. ) I believe that on TurboLinux you open SWAT from your web browser at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> be asked for a username and password. I don't remember if it is the root password or not in this distribution. Maybe someone else will have that info.<img src=

mmm..

Many thanks, techhead....

now I have installed RedHat 6.0....

and gotta reach my NT server... :(
Arlequin
arlequin@montevideo.com.uy
<a href=
IIRC you can still use SWAT for Samba. The only difference is the port number. I think it is 1000 instead of 901. Hope this helps.

mmm.... <br:mad:

what a pity...

if I type # lynx <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> lynx <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> have no response...

Arlequin
arlequin@montevideo.com.uy
<a href=
