I have a domain setup (Domain1) that has a Windows 2000 DC, a Windows NT Server as BDC, and a Windows 2000 Member Server. I have two group of users, one group is logged directly on to the domain (Domain1)that consists of mostly Windows 2000 Pro and one NT Workstation 4.0, the other group is in a workgroup (Workgroup) which consists of Windows NT Workstations 4.0. Before we upgraded any of our servers to Windows 2000, the Workgroup used to be able to connect to any server in the domain by going through Network Neighborhood. When they tried to connect to a server it would prompt them for a user id and password. Now they can connect to the Domain Controller with no problem, but when they try to connect to the Member Server, the get the message "An attempt was made to login, but the network logon service was not started." All services are started that need to be. I tried the NT Workstation that is logged on directly to the domain and I had the same problem, they can see connect to the Domain controller obviously, but they cannot connect to the Windows 2000 Member Server. Any suggestions

You need to add members to the member server group so they can attain the authority to access this device through the Active Directory.
