How do I connect to the SX-50 to View / Make Programing changes.

I am new to this system, there is SMDR spewing off of the R-232 port, can I changes items via this port?

Thanks

Typically, you use the console set to view/change progamming. You can also use a 420 or 430 set one the first port of the first card slot as long as that card is a digital card. I heard that you might be able to use a 420 or 430 set on a different port as long as the COS of that set will allow you access.
