Connecting to phone system directly 1

How do you connect to the phone system directly - without using an application on another PC? Sort of like the Console on a router..

Sorry, not entirely true, there is a web interface but it has very limited options.

You can use a serial cable to reset commands if that is what you are referring to. There is a way to download the config via tftp and edit it using notepad. But don't bother. Just get your BP to provide the software or find one who will.
Obviously they may charge to make this available to you. They have expenses too.
