connecting to mySQL from ASP application

i wanted to create a database driven website and i wanted to use ASP as the scripting language. can anyone tell me how do i connect to mySQL server if let say i'm doing local testing. what i know is that for ASP, an ODBC connection has to be setup in the database server and i cant find this feature in mySQL. thank you.

use myODBC to setup a ODBC-Connection to your mySQL-d.

whoooops... forgot something to mention:

you can also use a more "direct" method (well, kinda...):
"mysqlx" from scibit (the makers of mascon). This provides you with a component for use within you asp code to connect with mysql.
