Connecting to Audix using Avaya Data Module

I have a 8400B Data Module connecting to our Definity Switch for administration. It dials the netcon hunt groups and works fine.

What I would like to do, is connect to the Audix system for administration. In DSA I have tried to setup the Audix by adding 'Voice Mail System' but unsure what I should be dialling.

Any advise would be appreicated.

Sounds like you need another data mod set up on the Audix system... assign it an extension and that is what DSA will dial.

If you have an Intuity Audix or a Definity Audix you can access those systems via the remote maintenance number. That number is usually a DID. If you have an Intuity you can connect another data module to it. You'll need to look in the installation manual on how this is done. I have done it in the past but it's be to long ago for me to explain how it's done.
