Hello,
I am trying to connect my Option 61c (25.40) to a vegastream gateway via a T-1. I have set up the msdl and dch and loop, but I am having problems with the d-channel syncing. On my end (Nortel)the card is not an alarm, just the channels on the loop are in MSBY state.

It might be a clocking issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

The DCH protocols have to match on both ends and one site has to be the master (net) and the other side slave (user)

If you are wanting name display and/or message waiting lamps you will need to setup as QSIG

Thanks for the information. I have the dch setup just like you have it there. Does the route have to be correct in order for the d-channel to sync?

Route info does not matter for the DChannel to sync (except for IFC has to match in route and DCH).

If your DCH prompt side is set for USR - make sure the router side is NET. Also check that router side is set for correct protocol - QSIG t1

T1 on router side also has to be set up as ESF/B8ZS

I have set both ends up like you said, they both match. I am at a loss. I have even tried crossover cables from the switch to the gateway.

Thanks for your help
