I have just installed Backtrack 5 R3. I am new to Linux in general.

I am using a HP Pavilion DV7-4190US notebook with a Broadcom 4313 Wireless NIC.

I ran iwconfig and it does see my wireless card.

My question is how do I get connected to a wireless network. Through some google searches I learned that I could use WICD which needs to be installed, to instal WICD Python is required which also needs to be installed. However when I attempt to install Python I get an error that reads:
File "setup.py", Line 9 in <module>
import sysconfig
ImportError: No module named sysconfig

How do I proceed?

Never mind I just discovered that WICD is already installed
