Hi, i would like to know how to connect something (i.e another laptop or a ps2) through my ethernet port on my laptop, and have that use my wireless internet connection, so basically, my laptop with wireless connection with an ethernet cord running to my ps2 or other computer, im running win xp HE, and i just want to know if this is at all possible.
Thanks

You will need an ethernet crossover cable to connect the 2 pc's together.

ok i see what they are and im gonna make one, but can i just plug one end into my ps2 and then the other into my laptop and be able to play, or would i also have to configure my laptop??
Thanks

When i turn Internet connections sharing it basically tries to use my ethernet to connect to the internet and the wireless is still connected and all, but it just doesnt use the wireless. I've tried to bridge the connections, but i just have no idea where to go in setting up the wireless and ethernet.

Hmm, i figured out im on the right path, im trying to set up a small network, selecting my wireless as my main internet connection, and it says that it'll use the local area connection that other comp. (ps2) will connect thru, but when i try to amke the network i get an error, and all it says is an error occured, and i can configure my network manualkly or try again. any help?

Never mind i got it, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction...wireless ps2!

Hey am having the same problem can ne one tell me what the fix to this problem was. I have been workin on it for a few days and the guys at sony say it cant be done. If you can tell me the way e-mail me at jasonjitc@hotmail.com

the way problem was stated is quite vague...do you want to play using your playstation and do you have any devices like wireless router, adapter or bridge?

I am personally trying to do the same thing. I am trying to connect a ps2 to my laptop that is running XP and has a Linksys wpc54g card connecting to a linksys wrt54g. I cannot seem to get it to connect. I had it for a moment. I also have a cable/dsl router from linksys in between the laptop and ps2. (Do not have a crossover right now). If any one has info on this I would be much appreciative.
Thanks
