I would appreciate instructions for cabling the adtran csu to the pbx.
I have 3 T1s.
What cable is used to connect the csu to the pbx?
Which card in the pbx do you connect to?

In our case we use a DB 25 to RJ45 type adapter, then run a CAT 5 patch cord between that connector and the ADTRAN.
If you already have T-1 cards in the PBX that are available, there should be a corresponding connector on the back of the unit for 61/81 style systems, or a cable from opt 11 style systems.
If you do not know which is which, or it is not labelled, I would strongly suggest you get a vendor to take a look at it. It will save you a lot of heartache and stop you from potentially crashing the system.
Is this the type of detail you want, or is there something else you need?

I should have mentioned that we are using Dual PRI NT5D12. I have identified the MSDL connections.
I made an effort to trace the cable from the existing Kentrox CSU to the PBX (CS1000) without success.
The cabling is a nightmare and just want to identify both ends of the T1 cabling.
The PBX is an 81 that was upgraded to CS1000.
I really thought this would be simple to trace.

Thank You for your reply.

Start at the faceplate of the nt5d12 and trace the cable to the i/o. Then trace the cable from the i/o to the kentrox. Hand over hand steady as she goes.

I Thank You for your suggestion.
Where should the I/O be located?
I have looked behind the metal doors inside the modules.
It would have been so much easier had someone labeled the cables.
I really would prefer not to interrupt the cabling.
We have had issues with the Dual PRI cards before.
Please believe me the cabling is a nightmare.

trvlr1 was right. Call your vendor or a vendor if you don't already have one. Not trying to be a smarta$$ either.
