connecting syslog software to as5300 for voip records

You need a third party software like TELECOUNT(go to and get an evaluation copy for now)to capture the cdrs(call detail records) u add this commands;
1)(config)# logging x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the address of the server where the cdrs will be logged
2) from the global config too, u add this command;
(config)# gw-accounting syslog.
