Connecting remote Superstack 3 switches

Hi,

Am trying to connect two Superstack 3 3300 SM 24pt switches in separate buildings.
They both have software 2.66 and 1000 base sx Mt-RJ port on front.
Connecting the two gigabit ports together just gets the status light to flash on and off every 2 seconds or so and no traffic flow.
Is what i'm trying to do feasible and if so, has anyone got any idea of the problem?

I would suggest that you upgrade to V 2.69.
If you still do not have joy check out the distance and the diameter of the fiber to see if it conforms to the speck.
