Connecting Novel with VPN Tunnel

I created a VPN tunnel for access to a Novell server and I am able to open the VPN tunnel but I cannot conneect to the Novell server. What is needed to connect to the server via the tunnel?

Hi Vic,

Any more information.... you using IP / IPX ? how are you trying to connect to the server ( map a drive , rconsole etc )

I have installed the Novell client on my workstation. When I activate it for connection to the Novell server it fails.

Does the Novell server respond to an ICMP request once the VPN connection is established? If so do you have ACL's or other security measures in place that my be stopping your communication? What type of device is acting as the VPN server, PIX, Router, Concentrator? Posting your configuration may be a big help in solving your problem.

Have you tried putting the IP address of the server in the server field of the Novell client?
