connecting M1 with 3300 using qsig

Would any one be able to help me with specific configuration settings on a 3300 to have a 3300MXE connect to a M1 and use the M1 for trunking but the 3300 has a nupoint server with it to supply voicemail for the M1 and the 3300.
i have been asked to do this next week and i have no idea even where to start. The M1 tech will be looking after their side but i need to work on the Mitel. i have found a Cisco doc that helps with the M1 settings but i can not find anything on the mitel side.
Any help would be great.

We attempted this back in 2003 between a Mitel SX2000 and a Nortel 81C and gave up. The issue at the time was that although q.sig is indeed a "standard" it is comprised of many individual component variables which in and of themselves were voluntary elements of the "standard". Mitel was both willing and anxious to work with us; by contrast, Nortel just could not have cared less. We were successful only in getting callerID name & number passing between the switches. VM msg wtg setup/teardown and call progress reason codes (CFB/CFNA) were not do-able at the time. Perhaps in the ensuing 5 years this has changed.

If you're successful, please report back your findings and some details as I'm sure there are others who would be interested. In our situation we solved the problem by scrapping the 81C and replacing it with another Mitel.

I recieved information from a tech from Mitel today that has been sucessful in doing the connection between the two but the nupoint voicemail was not being used. i guess i just hold my breath and jump in. I will let you know what comes of it.
