Connecting HPUX to Windows 2000 with a Hub 2

I have a Windows 2000 workstation a HPUX workstation and a 3com hub. Has anyone got any idea how I make the two machines talk to each other, I'm having no success at all

There should be no problem assuming that TCP/IP settings are correct on each machine, i.e. the assaigned IP addresses put them both on the same subnet, then you should be able to ping both ip addresses, etc. Give us a bit more info about your setup.

Thanks! I have a cable modem, and when i unplug the cable I loose the IP address, if I manually assign one, everything works.
