Connecting DataView WebParts

Anybody have any luck connecting 2 dataview webparts in FrontPage 2003??

I have a Team Member List that has properties that each Team Member can setup default properties on. This has been converted into a DataView webpart and is filtered down to the current user.

I have a Task list that has also been converted into a DataView webpart that I would like to modify the view on, based on a default setting in the Team Member List.

I have connected these 2 parts and without any other coding, the connection bombs my sharepoint site.

Are there restrictions on what can be connected to the dataview part?

I have tried leaving my Team List as a regular sharepoint list and connecting and it works fine. BUT, you actually have to select the Team Member upon entering the page. I would really like to automate the settings.

Anybody ventured this direction before??

Ok Guys!!

I found that as long as I have another connection on the page (in my case from the Task List to a normal Document Library webpart). The connection between the 2 dataview webparts seem to work fine.

Too weird, but what ever works, huh??
