Has someone experiences in connecting an Avaya IVR to a Nortel Meridian 1 PBX?

The IVR shall be used as a virtual-agent pool receiving incoming calls and providing initial distribution of the calls based on the customer entered info. The IVR application shall perform initial virtual agent-login in order to receive incoming calls. The IVR application is using an Intel CPS server (former Dialogic CT-Connect)as the CTI middleware to the Meridian 1 PBX. The login info is passed over the CTI (Intel CPS) Server to the Meridian switch.

On the Meridian 1 side there is the Line-Side E1 card (NT5D33AB)and on the IVR side the Dialogic D/300PCI-E1 card (alternatively Nuance NMS CG6000 or NMS AG4000 could be used).

My problem is that the initial IVR login procedure does not work. We do not know where the problem could be (line cards settings, signalling, protocol etc).

Coul someone provide me some useful tips?

Thanks a lot in advance

I am trying do the integration between Avaya G3R R-9
and Nortel Meridian PBX using end-to-end T1 on ISDN PRI Signaling without Q-SIG.

Later we are getting the Q-SIG also.

Fyi.. The medium is transparent i.e. doesn't have any signaling of it's own.

The T1 is not coming in Sync. i.e. "D" channel is not up.

Is anyone can tell me the settings in Avaya and
Nortel PBX ?

Thanks in advance.

We set up the signalling between the Avaya and the Nortel, but did not do it with PRI. Just straight CAS T1. No caller ID without QSIG. If you want this I can send, but not PRI.
