Can't decide if this is an Exchange or Access based question, but have been asked today if there's a way I can link the email addresses located within a DB table to Exchange.

The goal is a shared address book similiar to the global AB, and the data has to be a live link to the data, ie, not just an export of this weeks database.

MS mentioned a wizard, but this seems to be for 97 and has been removed.

pointers/ links / vba code greatly appreciated
TIA

Open a new DB and select table, new, files of type to exchange, select the table that you want. You may be able to update that link table from the ms access info that you are storing depending on your permissions. Hope this was helpful.

Thanks for the reply. I took what you said but it didn't work directly on the exchange's global address book. It created errors.

When I changed the link to Outlook() it would link to a created 'contact' folder within the public folder area, and as I add dummy text to the table it appears in the shared contact folder. Only problem is that it comes to exchange as a discussion form rather than a contact.

Now I have the link I can play around and work the rest out.

Thanks again
