Hello,
I'm looking to connect a FreePBX with our current Mitel 3300.
Anyone done this before? any experience or FreePBX flavors that are suggested?
Any help would be great.. Thanks!

Simplest way would be to configure a SIP trunk between the two. You will need SIP trunk license on the Mitel 3300.

Thanks for responding.
I've actually setup the SIP trunk on the Mitel side, but can't seem to get connection between the two of them.
Was hoping to find an article or how to for some guidance.

When I call the ext created on the FreePBX I get ACCESS DENIED.(busy)

I'll keep plugging away.

I would check Class of service - make sure 'public network access via dpnss' is enabled - check on extension and the trunk class of service

Check phone class of restriction isn't blocked by class of restriction group in route for sip trunk.

So whatever digits access your sip trunk in ARS, will point to a route (or list that points to route) with a cor group. Check that cor group does not have your phone cor in it.

Access Denied is usually a COR restriction problem.
