We run MS Windows NT4-Small Business Server, with 2 LAN cards. On the "production" lan card we have 4 WinNT4-Workstation PCs. On the other "administration" lan card are about 13 Win9x PCs and 4 WfW3.11 PCs. So on a busy day, we might have up to 21 logins, but normally we have 17-18 active logins. The server is licensed for 20.
Using the "Server" tool in Control Panel, we discovered that the 4 WinNT4-Workstation PCs were often generating more than 1 simultaneous login entry. (one with a user name, and one or more with a blank username) Even when these 4 NT PCs were logged out of the LAN, there would still be at least 1 login entry for them.
As we are appraoching our license limit, I am concerned about these apparent duplicated logins.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
