Connect two Nortel ARN

Is there any way to connect two Nortel ARN through COM ports on Expansion Module?
If there is could you give any ideia hot to do it?

I use the Nortel 7835 cable to connect from one 44 pin serial port to another. I attached a link below.

Yes, I want a PPP connection, I already tried but I haven't achieved anything.

You need to change the clock source if you have a null modem cable.. back-to-back

I don't have access to the config file right now. I have a 44 pin crossover cable from Nortel. How should I configure the clock? Both internal? external?

I'm lost with the internal or external, but you can try both ways.

Both internal (think this is right) one external and the other one internal.

And for PPP should I use normal PPP or the proprietary Nortel PPP?

I have a simular configuration running in our lab only I have them connected to external CSUs and then use a T1 crossover between them. In my scenario I use external clocking on both and clock from the CSUs. For direct crossover I'm not sure which way if it should be both internal or one internal, one external. I have done it with this cable before though.

I would use normal PPP. But the Nortel PPP should work also. When I have done this in the past I have allways used normall PPP. The only problem I can remember having are getting the clocking set properly.
