anybody ever not be able to connect through service port. can ping it but cant connect to it through web browser.

connect to s8500 fails

I can not telnet to it. i did remove the 3 security patches from windows and proxy settings are not turned on.
If you cannot telnet to it from the services port (and you have cleaned the ARP table from the laptop using "arp -d") then some services/applications are down. Try connecting to the RSA/SAMP board and check the OS status. You can also reboot the server through the RSA/SAMP. It will either come up or it will need a re-installation to work.
I have seen this a number of times, these seem to be your options..

i did clear the arp, but no luck. ill try your suggestion. thanks.
