Hi everyone. We purchased 40 NEC IP phones and we need to connect them to a 3C system but this does not have the necessary firmware to manage them. Is it possible to use them as normal SIP phones by doing a firmware dowgrade?
Thank you

An NEC IP phone can be connected to a UC3 system by simply plugging it into the UC3 network. The phone should connect to the UC3 server and download the standard SIP load. Going the other way is a bit more difficult.

Ok the problem is that the UC3 seems doesn't have the sw compatibility with this model of phones. The model of phones is DT820 ITY-6D-1P(BK)
Can you tell me how to do?
Thanks

You would need to upgrade the UC3 software to the latest version.

You will need to contact your vendor to get the files, or have them do it. If you have software assurance, then it's a free upgrade.
