Good morning fellow Tek-Tippers,

I know that this forum is for Cisco ASA questions, I think the question I have can or may be answered by someone in this forum.

Ok-here it goes. I have a client that just purchased an iPad and wants to connect to his company VPN. Where I get stuck is that the iPad is asking for a server name and all the Apple forums I have read through make it seem like they are connecting to VPN using a server. So is there a way I can connect the iPad without using a server name?

I apologize for the iPad question but I had to turn to the experts to get this answered.

Thank you,

the server space is simply where you plug in the FQDN or the ip address of the VPN termination point. the 5505 should be setup to accept either IPSec or PPTP connections. does this answer your question??

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
