The last entry of this thread: refers to IP phones connecting over a wireless network.

Really?

Specifically, can a 9608 connect using wi-fi on an R9 IP Office? I just told a customer 'no' but if I am wrong they'll be happy to hear it!

I have done this for a customer that had a remote building. We used a point-to-point wireless setup and a small Netgear PoE switch at the remote building. There used to be an Avaya Tech Tip that showed using D-Link AP's in a point-to-point bridge mode to connect an IP set where there wasn't a wired Ethernet connection. I wouldn't use D-Link myself, but there are other devices that do work.

Wireless network as in a wireless bridge (2 radio heads forming a link), not a wireless enabled IP deskphone :)
