Hello ,
I have Siemens Hipath 4000 v1 with the following modules:
1- TMOM2 Q2214X100 qty=1
2- SLMA24 Q2246X qty=54
3- TM2LP Q2159X160 qty=12
4- SLMO Q2168X qty=4
5- LTUCX Q2166X qty=5
6- SIUX2 Q2187X qty=3
7- DIUN2 Q2196X qty=2
8- HUBC Q2143X qty=1
9- QDCL Q2113X100 qty=2
10-SICOE Q2234X100 qty=2
11-MTSCG Q2224X1 qty=2
12-DPC5 Q2270X100 qty=3

For Test purpose, How can I connect two external lines (from PSTN) to Hipath? which module? what are the commands needed to use the external lines from any internal line?

For main purpose, I need 100 external lines, I have prepared Fiber cable from the CO to Hipath, can I connect the fiber directly to Hipath? if not, how can I prepare 100 external lines? what are the commands needed?

I hope your response
Thanks

Hi,
Make the LDPLN
5-W-X-X

Make the LODR
ECHO 3
ECHO 4
END

Try dialling out and putting # at the end when you dial out

If that fails try dialling out directly on the Line again using a test phone.

When you dial out via the HiPath does the light flash on the TM2LP card ?

when dialing out and putting # .. success, I get call correctly.
but without putting # ... failed, I get busy tone after 10 seconds
Yes the LED of TM2LP card flashing.

OK so it is working but you have to put the # at the end.
It is likely that your timers are incorrect.

what I have to do?

Try reloading the TM2LP Card
Either take it out and put it in again or type in
RES-BSSU:pEN,1,1,61;

The problem is that the system needs to be setup in a logical order.
That order includes setting timer blocks to each card depending on the territory/country where you are.

OK my teacher,
I did
RES-BSSU:pEN,1,1,61;
but I get the same result.

I think I have to delete the trunks, and do the PTIME commands, after that rewrite the configuration of the trunks.

Finally, It is solved.
when I read TM2LP documentation, I found that its signalling is DP, DTMF.
After that I read the documentation of "trunking for rest of the world"
I found that I have to add NO1A to COP of the trunks.
Also, I used 5-W-X-X as DPLN.

Thanks sbcsu, you are a great teacher.

Well done Rony
A lot of configurations are standard depending on your location.
Happy you got it sorted out.

How are the Operators - is that ok ?
