I have a bcm50 and I want to connect to the CallPilot Manager, I plugged the unit into the ethernet port on the back of my router but I cannot connect. Any suggestions, I'm not very good at this networking issues.

By default the BCM 50 gets its IP adddress from a DHCP server. If your Linksys is giving out DHCP, then you'll have a hard time knowing what IP is on your BCM.

Plug your laptop into the leftmost port on the BCM 50 - it will give your laptop a DHCP address and you can then use Element Manager to connect the BCM and assign an IP address.

Thanks, I used 192.168.1.2 and connected through my router. I used the Ethernet port #2 on the BCM50. Thanks for the help.
