connect avaya with central office

hello everyone,
we opened a branch office and installed in the branch office an ip office small office edition. in the main office we have an ip 406. we connect to the main office with a vpn to see mail and files. the question is how to i connect the two avayas using this vpn connection we have, so that we could dial each other's extension. is it possible?

Odd as in when the connection fails. but I have never had any complaints of call quality, and we use this exclusively in several very busy taxi firms for both SIP trunks and site to site connectivity.
