What is involved in this process? We have a remote office with a G3Si v12 switch (ours is V11) and they want to be able to use our CMS server with a wallboard. They currently have BCMS. The PBXs are not tied together in any way other than being in the same domain on a different subnet.

Is this something simple or a major task? I know how to populate the dictionaries and change IPs but am not sure what if anything is needed hardware-wise or how to proceed software-wise.

Thanks

First, your CMS has to be configured to support a second ACD. You may have to purchase the Addl. ACD from Avaya (around $10K). Avaya will no longer add anything to a CMS less than R3V12. The remote switch needs to be a V7 or better to support the PBX/CMS link via TCP/IP. You will need a C-LAN board in the remote switch ($1K). Depending on your proficiency with UNIX, you may need Avaya or a Business Partner to administer the PBX/CMS link.

Thanks for the quick response. Ours is a CMS R3V11. THe remote switch already has a c-lan as well. Sounds like its not going to work since we're on a R3V11 though. The $10K ACD license would be tough to swing as well. Thanks for your help.
