Hi,

I have two Sco Openserver servers and i want to be able to look at the data on either of them from the other machine. Is this possible?

I've had a search around but i cant find anything that says it is possible.

Thanks in advance.

You may consider NFS:
man exports

Thanks, I'll have a read of the Man pages and see how i go. Do i need to create somesort of connection between them in Scoadmin or something?

Or cu. I do it regularly with serial or modem.

You may also simply use telnet or rlogin.

Hi,

I can connect from one box to the other. What i really wanted to do was to be able to mount the filesystem of one of the boxes on the other.

I did this along time ago (6 years) when upgrading to Sco Openserver.

Any ideas folks?

So, definitively you have to look at NFS.
